You can pull a child out of a sport, but you cannot pull the sport out of a child | Sunil

My family never approved of a career in sports and so, I never got the opportunity to get a formal education around it. Yet, today, with no educational background in sports, my profession is to coach school kids in sports.

You’d wonder how. I have been into athletics for many years now, but never had the courage to go against the will of my parents and do relevant courses to take up a career in sports. Despite bagging accolades like qualifying for the state in the 3000m race, my family never took it any farther than being an extra-curricular activity. So, I took up B.Com. for my undergraduate degree and started working with South Asia’s premier logistics service provider as a Team Lead. However, I was never able to break ties with athletics.

I used to participate in corporate events and slowly stepped-up to coaching in such events and running groups. It was then that a friend told me about EduSports. It was exactly the kind of job that I’ve always wanted. My persistence towards sports has finally paid up and how!
