I fell shoulder first on the ground while playing at the Asian Games for Indian women's football team. It brought in a physical limitation I had never seen before. My sporting career came to a screeching halt. It wasn't the first challenge I had seen in my life though.

Being the daughter of the Indian women's team's goalkeeping coach, I was always perceived as someone who had inherited success. As a result, I kept putting in double the efforts. The Eklavya award bestowed by the Karnataka government was a proof that I had it in me to be a champion.

Sports has also taught me to move on. Armed with my MBA degree, I started a new life with EduSports. I am a delivery manager with them. However, my first love was always Football and it is still alive and kicking inside.
